1. Ralph knows that Simon's death was murder. Piggy insists that it was just an accident but Ralph reminds him that he was on the outside, so he didn't see how Jack's tribe killed Simon. Samneric say they were lost in the forest during the dance. In the end, all four boys agree that they left the feast before the dance to feel less guilty.
